Telephone System
It is in the advantage of a locality to be able to have access in information. This is where the communications sector plays a vital role. Information must be well disseminated so that the populace will be able to be updated with the current issues, global trends and developments.
The telephone system in the municipality is being operated by a joint venture between the Pandan Multi-Purpose Cooperative and the Panay Telephone Corporation (PANTELCO). It has its office located at the center of the poblacion where it also maintain a five-booth public calling office. The system currently serve eight (8) barangays and the number of subscriber are concentrated in the poblacion.
The telephone system offers domestic and international calls as well as fax and data transmissions. For residential users, monthly charge is Php 242.00 and for commercial users monthly charge is Php 423.00. Toll charges for long distance calls depend upon the area or place being called.
Mobile Telephone Service
Pandan have existing Cellular Mobile Telephone Services operated by Globe Telecom and Smart Telecom.
Internet Service
Pandan can connect to the Internet, the Internet service being provided by Inter.net Global.
Telegraph Service
Telegraph service in this municipality is being operated by the Telecommunications Office. It has one personnel who transmits and receives telegrams. The lone personnel also deliver telegrams and do other related works. The telegraph office has an ICOM IC-705 HF transceiver capable of direct communications anywhere in the Philippines. Messages are transmitted directly especially to places which are not served by private telegraph systems.
Postal Service
The Philippine Postal Corporation has its office at the municipal hall. It is manned by a Post Master and four letter carriers. It has four motorcycles used in the delivery of letters. It is able to serve far-flung barangays of the municipality by coordinating with barangay officials to facilitate the delivery of letters.
Cable TV
The municipality has also an eleven-channel cable TV system being operated by the Pandan MPC and Kalibo Cable. Its subscribers are mainly in the poblacion area and nearby barangays.
Radio Station
Aside from the radio stations operating in Antique, Pandan has one local radio station.
