The Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator serves as the technical staff of the planning body of the municipality. This office formulates integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration of the Municipal Development Council (MDC), the planning body of the municipality, and in consultation with the other departments or government agencies. He promotes people participation in development planning within the local government unit and acts as secretariat of the MDC, Pre-qualification, Bids and Awards Committee (PBAC), Local School Board (LSB), and Project Monitoring Committee. The office is also responsible for zoning administration.
